I am Trevor Boyd and I live in Northern Ireland. I'm married to Andrea ( with a background in banking, she handles all my tax returns!) and have 3 wonderful children and a dog called Amber!

I have been a passionate mineral collector for over 40 years, initially specialising in the zeolite minerals found locally here in the Antrim Basalt Formation. This then expanded to specimens from the island of Ireland. However my collecting focus soon expanded worldwide and today I love looking out for nice specimens from the famous Tsumeb and Ojuela Mines as well as nice wulfenite specimens.

In 2013 I began selling mineral specimens online and I subsequently joined the Dutch online auction house, Catawiki, in October 2016 as Expert for their Minerals category before becoming a Senior Expert looking after their Minerals & Meteorites auctions. Earlier this year I decided to leave Catawiki and focus on my original passion, collecting minerals and selling directly to collectors.
